Hollywood sensation Catherine Zeta-Jones could visit India for the Kumbh Mela, which will take place from January 14 to February 25.
“I seek peace of mind. A reason why I love India is yoga, which originated in the country. I really want to visit India during the Kumbh Mela because I hope to find what I seek there,” Zeta-Jones said.
She further revealed that actor-husband Michael Douglas and their two children, son Dylan and daughter Carys may also accompany her.
“I hope my family is with me during the visit. If not, I will surely try to be at the pilgrimage alone,” she said.
The 43-year-old Jones admitted her requirement for pilgrimage was an outcome of the fact that she is feeling stressed out at this point of time.
It is worthwhile mentioning that she was treated for bipolar II disorder in 2011 while husband Douglas had been suffering from cancer during the past few years.
If the visit do occur, Zeta-Jones would be in India around the time her new film Broken City releases.
Similar to most Hollywood stars visiting India, Zeta-Jones revealed a keen interest to work in Bollywood films.
“I have had musical experience in films so I think I could be suitable. It could work if there is a good offer,” she said.
