From tennis sensation of India to smart coach and now savvy entrepreneur – Sania Mirza is moving along at a rapid rate.

Sania’s first business venture, Ristretto Coffee Shop, all set to be the biggest-ever coffee café in Hyderabad, will have a soft launch on December 25, before she leaves for Melbourne to play in the opening grand slam of the year, Australian Open.

“The official launch is probably in January. We are yet to finalise the date,” pointed out Sania’s father Imran.

While his father do not disclose the name of the business partner of Sania, there is a buzz that Sania had teamed up with her family friend and Hyderabad-based businessman Seshu Reddy with regard to launching a chain of coffee lounges across India, beginning with Hyderabad.

“The next coffee shop is being planned at Visakhapatnam, followed by franchise in different parts of south India and then in Mumbai and Delhi,” said sources close to the Mirza family.

Sania is also promoting tennis through her dream project – Sania Mirza Tennis Academy. The main objective of this academy is to find young talents that wants to make a career in tennis.
