Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has just launched the Honor 5C smartphone in India with a metal unibody design and fingerprint sensor for Rs 10,999. In addition, the company has also launched the Honor T1 7.0. It is an entry-level offering that comes with a SIM card slot and offers voice-calling functionality. In the age of Marshmallow, the slate runs the archaic Android 4.4 KitKat, with Emotion UI 3.0 on top.
As far as the other specs are concerned, the Honor T1 7.0, as its name suggests offers a 7-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels. The slate is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, aided by 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal memory, which can be further increased up to 32GB. The device offers 2MP sensors for both the front and rear cameras. Connectivity-wise, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS. A 4,100mAh battery is the main highlight of the slate, which delivers 20 hours of talk time on 3G networks and 12 hours of video playback. The tablet also supports USB OTG for transferring files via a flash drive and reverse charging.
The Honor T1 7.0 has been priced at Rs 6,999, and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting 2 pm today.
