Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik who is in India right now will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today.
However, he is not going to meet UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. There has been no agenda set for his meeting with Manmohan Singh but the indications are that there is going to be a talk on the Sir Creek issue, apart from the 26/11 case.
According to the sources, Malik is also going to meet the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon.
Earlier, Malik had a one-to-one discussion with Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde.
Malik has already created buzz, one for his rhetoric on arrest of Hafiz Saeed and another on his opinion on Kargil martyr Captain Saurabh Kalia.
It is worthwhile pointing out that Rehman angered the Kalia’s family by saying that he was not sure if the captain was killed by a Pakistani bullet or the weather.
