Indian fast bowler S. Sreesanth is not going to visit the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, where Team India is going to battle it out against England in the second One-Day International (ODI).
A friend of Sreesanth said: “He told me he won’t watch the match and remain at home.”
Sreesanth, who comes from Kochi, last played a one day international when India defeated Sri Lanka to win the World Cup in 2011. From that moment, Sreesanth has been plagued by injuries.
He was hoping to get a game against the touring England in the ODI series but selectors opted for the likes of Dinda and Shami.
Sreesanth made his ODI debut in 2005 and has played two ODIs at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. First one in 2006 against England and second one against Australia in 2007.
